Spring Mason Bee Homes

Shopping Cart

Spring Mason Bee Homes are suited for both the early mason bee (Osmia lignaria) and the late spring mason bee (Osmia californica).

The size of spring mason bee homes range from small, medium to large. In addition is the very special Viewing box. It provides 6 nesting tunnels for 6 mason bees inside a box with a lid that can be opened for viewing. The lid can be opened to see progress of bee nests and bee development through the summer.

The smallest homes (Mini cottage and Cottage) contain cardboard nesting tubes. The larger cottage has the Ezy -harvest nesting tubes. Both types of nesting tubes are used once and then replaced each year.

The medium sized homes (Lodge/ Chalet and Royal) and the largest home (Highrise) all contain the Corn Quicklock nesting trays. Corn Quicklock nesting trays are easily cleaned and re-used each year. They are easy to reassemble. Two pieces make up 6 nesting tunnels. Pieces can be stacked to any height.

Build-your-own mason bee home kit is a fun project for children. This home is assembled without nails or glue!

These attractive homes are ready for nesting bees and provide bees with a safe, secure and protected home.
