Lay bundle of reeds horizontally in an opaqua, waterproof container with open access at one end. Place in a warm sunny spot in your yard or garden, and you've got a Mason Bee Home.

Reeds are for one-time use. In the fall, open reeds in half by pressing on reed at one end, opening up the reed and removing cocoons. Use fresh reeds in the spring.
