Dark stormy clouds in spring

These cherry  blossoms are waiting for pollinators.  Under these cold, dark and stormy conditions it is too cold for honey bees.  Surprisingly, I have seen mason bees flying about in this kind of weather.  This can occur, only though, if bees have had a bit of warmth to emerge, mate and go on their first foraging trip.  The secret is to have their bee home in a warm location

NOT on a tree

NOT on a fence.  It is too windy on a fence or a tree.

An EAST facing wall of a shed or your home that has an overhang and is out of the wind works best.
