These cherry blossoms are waiting for pollinators. Under these cold, dark and stormy conditions it is too cold for honey bees. Surprisingly, I have seen mason bees flying about in this kind of weather. This can occur, only though, if bees have had a bit of warmth to emerge, mate and go on their first foraging trip. The secret is to have their bee home in a warm location
