616.30 Wooden nests for Spring and Summer Bees

Sustainable and Re-useable!

Wooden nesting trays for both early spring mason bees and smaller summer mason bees.  Made from local hardwood- Birch,  a beautiful wood that will last many seasons.

Nest entrances are burned to assist bees finding their nests.

Place nesting stack inside a bee home to protect nest from wind and rain.

Face bee home eastwards for early morning warmth.

In the fall cocoons are harvested and nests washed free of debris and pests.  Nests are re-useable after cleaning and drying.

Make sure nests are dry when stored.  Moisture will mold trays and make it less attractive to bees in the spring.

• Includes: 30 nesting tunnels-10 nesting tunnels for small summer mason bees plus 20 nesting tunnels for the larger spring mason bees
