Our spring collection consists of bee homes of various sizes, pre- loaded with MASON BEES nesting material.
Each home has an attic in which to place your box of bee cocoons. These attractive homes are ready for nesting bees and provide bees with a safe, secure and protected home.
Nest-hole depth and diameter is specific for this bee species and are designed for good nesting success so there are lots of offspring for the following year. Nesting tunnels are constructed in a firm material such as wood or corn-material material. Wood and corn material is formed to make stackable nesting trays that are cleanable and last for many years. Paper is a one-time use only and is made into cardboard nesting tubes or corrugated nesting tubes.
The smallest home contains cardboard nesting tubes. Nesting tubes are used once and then replaced each year.
The larger homes contain stackable nesting trays either made from hardwood or corn material. Nesting trays are easily cleaned and re-used each year. They are stackable to any height and are easy to reassemble.
