Insect pollination of cultivated crop plants by McGregor 1976. When I began my career as a pollination biologist this handbook of 876 pages traveled with me wherever I went. It is a great source on pollination of many plants. Now, what is even more amazing, is that USDA is continually updating it, as an on-line book. If you want to know about pollination of a plant, look first in this book. It is not meant to be read from beginning to end. However, if you are interested in pollination of a particular plant, I am sure you will read it that section from beginning to end. If you are really interested, each chapter has the references that are sited in the text. My research on blueberries has still to be updated.
